All this talk about bending sense is making me curious about the intimate applications of blood bending and ngl I'm kinda scared.

^Blood bending is a canon thing in Avatar, Katara is one of the Water benders capable of it, and it is treated as a scary thing.
Also I should say Toph's "Bending Sense" comes from her being an Earth bender that's always barefoot because she "sees" through her bending via connecting to the earth under her feet. Toph has a harder time "seeing" based on the surface she is standing on and what it is made out of.
