^It's a historical-ish Chinese yuri/baihe webnovel, one of the more famous ones in the genre I believe.
From what I understand it's about a woman disguising herself as a man to get revenge on an enemy kingdom, but ends up falling in love with a woman from that kingdom?
I've been meaning to read it; apparently it's a very angsty and slowburney type of story.

Norainhere is right. And it's VERY angsty, like gut wrenching level and deals with some really heavy and dark stuff. But its also very well written and translated. Angst is normally not my cup of tea but this one is just straight up just really good. To the point i can just recomend it as just very good reading even ignoring the baihe stuff which is also very very good.
Also ohmigosh the art is sooo good.

^ recently read it, and it differs completely from any manga I have read. Chinese writers are really good at writing angst. I cannot go into detail without giving away spoilers, but everything is so meticulously thought-out and well-developed especially the characters. Has around 300 chapters.

This novel was a slog to get through. I liked the concept, but the execution... It had some really good moments, but it should have been at least a hundred chapters shorter. I remember spending an hour ranting to my friends about it when I finally finished it lol.
