^ Feels a little pointed, but you're not wrong. I only noticed it on this art; consider both characters being the same skin tone and paler than either is canonically depicted. I guess some of it could be explained by Robin's mysterious (and long-lamented) case of reverse-tanning.

^People say "it's not whitewashing, they're all light skinned in the manga" and I genuinely think that makes it worse
What do you mean, in a story set across an entire planet where almost everyone lives on an island or a ship, almost everyone is pale-skinned except maybe a race with only one confirmed survivor?
