The mother ship was based off of a scene where Maki's mother comes into the auditorium during one of their concerts and blushes at Kotori's mom who is already there, wasn't it?

Am I the only one who has the scenario that all of the mothers knew each other and are fighting for Honk's mother... because... well, she's the only one we see the father and in the end Maki's mother and Kotori's mother got together instead because Honk's mother found Honk's father and eventually broke up because of reasons and when they realized their daughters knew each other, they got together and reminisced about the olden days, and it may or may not have led to a foursome (Nico's mother and Honk's mother caught wind of it)
