^ AppleDash is canon in the original MLP, while RariJack is canon in Equestria Girls. They literally had a whole movie or maybe an episode (I can't remember), where they acted like a jealous couple.

Look, Dash is shown to have an intense attachment to her hometown, WHICH SHE LEFT IN ORDER TO FOLLOW FLUTTERSHY.
Dash moved from her favourite place in the universe to the middle of goddamn nowhere in order to be close to Fluttershy, and the writers just completely ignored this.

If there was one pair I saw the most of at the height of popularity it was Rarijack. With FlutterDash in a damn close second.
And they fumbled it so hard. Though in EQG they kinda got back on track. Flutters and Dash were being gay as hell in the rollercoaster one.

Tbh, while watching the show, I never really got that vibe I thought flutterdash had a much stronger bond. but I do understand where people are coming from when they ship the two. but then again practically any characters can be shipped with each other even if two characters never had a single interaction. :P
@Lilliwyt Yeah, for sure, 100%. This is just a light-hearted discussion about why each pairing works. Personally, even though I adore RariJack, I see Rarity as a girls’ girl so she looks cute with everyone imo Applejack, Fluttershy, Twilight, etc. ^_^
