Let's go, some Amiya W pun intended... Is it even a pun? I was so sick of this Amiya x Zuo Le nonsense going around.

^ I kinda feel you on that, I don't mind Zuo le, but the fact they never interacted in main or any events and he keeps popping up with her kinda drives me nuts like with her new outfit rn with Rosmotis and freaking Zuo le

^They interacted in like 1 event, the Chinese one. Once or something. Later, Amiya's English VA did what english VA's do and went off the script on one of the streams and gushed over the guy, and here we are.

I think the Zuo Le stuff is also the unfortunate aspect of a push for the "hetero normative" that exists in all fandoms and spaces. It's something where for a lot of people Amiya has to be interested in a guy. I think it's adjacently related to other things like how people in the fandom and similar fandoms default to calling the protagonist him/him pronouns, and act as if the protag being a man is the objective truth. As someone who largely looks at fandoms from the outside I really don't feel like I belong in general, but I suppose that's also most social situations for me lol

^^ Didn't know they interacted once in an event (I don't really read event stories tbh) but I did know that the promotion stream did kick off the whole thing, that's for sure
