Something tells me that this series is really depressing.
In an alternate timeline, Canaan is the series that blew up and not Fate
It's been some years, but I don't remember it being particularly depressing. It's similar to El Cazador de la Bruja, but more action-y.

^^ I don't know man, if I remember correctly a couple of characters die and a couple more are miserable... But I could be missremenbering.
^It's been so long and my memory is fuzzy, I remember a generally bleak vibe with the series though...
