unrelated but question: would krisselle count as yuri too if kris is non binary?

^depends on the artist, depends on the particular type of nonbinary being projected onto Kris, depends on its context in relation to Noelle’s identity, overall I’d say it Depends In General IMO. If pressed I’d advise that “no” is a safer answer than “yes” but it comes down to what the artist and audience consider both “yuri” and “nonbinary” to mean. X3
(of course I can’t speak authoritatively on, like, tagging policy here though)

^/^^ Probably not. Whilst the one Kriselle pic already here is tagged Yuri, it has Noelle x Susie interference. Although the majority ofNon-binary content is Ena x Mizuki who are Yuri, all other cases (all Houseki no Kuni pairings, Crona x Maka, Petra x Zoe - i did not knew AoT has NBs - and Eda x Raine) lack the tag. It's similar for manga here.
And whilst I support a rather wide definition of Yuri, I also favour those precedents. Having somebody who's not a woman and intentionally label them as woman by implication is nothing but offensive, like labeling transyuri as Het would be.

I consider Kriselle and Krusie to be yuri, and Kerdly to be yaoi. When you play both sides you always win.

^Kris's gender is the same. It's just the one that makes anyone who likes them gay
