It has occurred to me some one might actually not get the joke.
You rez allies by attacking them. Yes, AoE spells count.
I didn't think revives would ever get funnier than shouting at someone to "Get the fuck back up," a la Payday 2, but here we are.

^You resurrect (rez) allies that have fallen by attacking them. Even Area of Effect (AOE) spells count when it comes to reviving a fallen team member. Area of Effect attacks typically hit everything within a certain radius, said radius is determined by the attack/weapon/ability/spell, in this case a spell will have a certain area that it damages and if fallen allies are in that area it helps revive them.

^note that this even includes lingering effects from attacks and spells, meaning that you can revive an ally by making a pool of lava under them.
