^That would be great, unfortunately for me it really felt like they just went back to being friends by the end. As if someone came in with a vacuum cleaner and sucked up all the relationship build up. I was really convinced that they were going to go all the way, it was as if someone built the frame of a house and then tossed a grenade in it for no reason. Also I remember a relationship graphic someone made where the line kept going up and up, and then the line plummeted down to less than friends, and then barely back up to friends at the end of the series. Which was unfortunately accurate in my opinion.

This was a unique series. Unfortunately something went really wrong halfway through the story.
^You are right in a way, but the credits scene left 100kg of implications, so I'm with @deltahalo241.
