If Hoyo ever said screw it and went through with canonically making 2 girls in a relationship it would be these 2 hands down

^Hmmm, while this pairing is very compelling I'm not sure of them being the first. Honestly I would say Ningguang x Beidou is all but cannon at this point. I do really like this pairing though; the whole 'tragic incident that separated for a decade then coming finally making their way back to each other' does add to the flavor.

Also, the fact Beidou refuse her pay so Ninguang can go buy an hairpin, and finally both going to browse the market during festival because hairpin should be bought and offered by Beidou.

I mean they do this "yuribait" constantly. Even this Lantern Rites you had Ningguang/Beidou, Ganyu with Keqing, Amber with Eula. And "pairs" like Navia/Clorinde, Mona/Fischl or Dehya/Dunyazard/Candance appear semi-regularly.
I call it bait, because HI3 was waaay more "gay" and Hoyo still insisted that every girl in that game was designed as "waifu" for player akin to dating sim.
