Can anybody tell me, how deep Ranma's transformation goes? Like does Ranma's curse give him periods?

I don't doubt that. I'm just wondering if Ranma is getting the full woman experience. I would hate to find out he wasn't getting his moneys worth. lol

^To be honest I've only seen the current season of the new adaption, and only know a little bit more through osmosis and the influence of the manga and older adaption, so I unfortunately don't know all of the details myself. I figured joking around couldn't hurt through haha

I've watched all of the english translated series and OVA, and maybe half of the manga and don't remember ever seeing any mention of it.

Someone once asked Rumiko Takahashi that, her answer: "I don't think about that, and neither should you"
I don't say you shouldn't ask that, just that the answer is known by no one.

At one point in the manga, Ranma meets the human descendants of animals that were turned into human women via the spring, so the transformation does give you a complete reproductive system. The manga never mentions anyone having their periods, but it's logically something Ranma would have to deal with.

@V-Oblivion: That's the answer I expected, since the series seems to not go super deep into gender stuff and sticks more so to being a rom-com with a unique dynamic from what I've seen.
Kankneet: Guess that answers it without the author ever needing to say lol

What I'm curious about is, does snow count as cold water for the curse? Or does it have to be liquid?

^I'm not sure about in series, but I think it would make sense for snow to count. Since once it lands on your skin it normally melts due to your body heat, becoming a liquid. Though maybe you need a certain amount of water to activate the curse conditions...?

It make sense Rumiko Takahashi said don't think about it. The lore around the jusenkyo is cunfusing and even seems contradicting. Like does Ranma look like the girl who fell into the pool to create the spring of drowned girl, or does he just like a female version of himself. Miss Takahashi just seemed to make choices about lore to fit whatever story plot she was working on at the time.

In a later story arc, a bad guy nearly drowned Akane to death in fresh jusenkyo spring so he could turn himself into an Akane look alike to mess with Ranma.
