Man I love me a slow-burn as much as the next guy but someone's gotta pour some gas on this fire or we'll be waiting til 2028 for these mfers to be even remotely as close as they are in fan art.

One of these days the two of them will share a friendly hug.

I for one have no complaints about how this series is going. Some people just have no patience.
Cute art.

^Patience is so last Tuesday. Every tick of the clock is a step closer to shedding your mortal coils.

I understand both sides I think. Some people feel that the slow-burn is working is, others feel like it's not getting anywhere / even by slow-burn standards. Both are valid imo

I'm fine with a slow burn, as long as we get a solid hook up at the end of this rainbow. I'm talking a romantic kiss or better. None of that implied relationship to come, crap. Like the end of Ranma 1/ 2. 7 seasons, 2 movies, and an OAV, and they never even kissed. The manga ended the same way.
Honestly I've been afraid of a noncommittal ending ever since they took theRomance tag off the story.

I really like how this artist draws faces, especially the eyes. They look so... warm? I dunno.

Also I like slow burns a lot. But I'm with Johnb. There's always this fear that you get invested over years and then the ending is just crap. I like slow burns if they reach a point where the characters get together and maybe the story even goes on. And show the couple in their earned relationship. HEA is so yesterday, too. I want to see the relationship that the couple (and me the reader) earned. And so there always is the fear of the series ending abruptly and ambigously like so many other series did. -.-

^Investing into something for years just for the ending to be crap is one of the main reasons why I mostly abandoned the battle shonen genre (except for World Trigger, at this point I doubt it can do something to disappoint me), so I can kinda understand why people don't want to be stuck in this series only for it to go nowhere, but I do personally like it.
