@DrJamesFox, ^for the record, Robifly fandom has their own Discord and in that Discord, they have almost 800 people (minus bots)

That tells you alot how popular Robifly lately (not that popular compare to other HSR pairings, but still)
Edit: would like to add that Discord is quite active actually, some of them are avid fans too

^Interesting! I don't get shipping Firefly with Robin but it's still yuri. By default it's infinitely better than shipping Firefly with the male Stelle which I've seen a bit of.

^Is that the only reason? A bunch of the NPCs we walk by are fangirling/fanboying over Robin and her upcoming concert. She's a universally famous idol so it's hardly a surprise to encounter fans of her. I even recall March saying something that indicated she was fan of Robin.
I guess in the end it's just a crackship, which is fine since it's still yuri.

The situation is that Firefly is big fan of Robin and many of Robin's songs connect very well to Firefly's character arc/backstory. So people made the pairing based off of that information.
That being said, it's quite odd for Firefly to never interact with Robin at all, given the connection. It is a missed opportunity.

I really scoured the Penacony storyline to figure out why this ship is so popular, so you can imagine my surprise when I reached the end of the story and realized they never interact a single time. Can't complain, though, it's cute.

I've been roaming the Robin x Firefly community for awhile, but from what I've seen so far, although they are cute together they share quite a bit of similarities in their values of what they believe in, but I've only seen it in clips on twitter of ppl comparing the two (I can't really specify since I don't actually play the game itself), which is pretty interestingly cute.
