Whoa, there's only 1 image and it already has the tag Noko x Torako, while Whispering You a Love Song needs 5-6 images to have the tag Himari x Yori

^Crunchyroll says the episode launches on their service July 7th
I saw the 1st episode is up on unofficial anime websites, but I'm just waiting on the Crunchy release I think

^Me too. I can't imagine anyone putting much effort into fansubs with just a few days between airing and official subs releasing.

@DrJamesFox: Well uh bad news here. The fansubs are machine translated, and I've been reading that the Crunchyroll subs are AI translated from the company providing the anime to Crunchyroll.
@Fluffycow I don't know anything about that twitter user or this "Remow" they're talking about but what jumped out at me is they say it "might have" been done by AI...so I'll take their scoop with a grain of salt.
Ultimately seems it's a non-issue since there weren't any problems with the subs from what I could see while watching and I haven't seen any complaints elsewhere. The episode was great and I kneel before our new deer overlords.

@DrJamesFox I was seeing some Tweet examples of types and letters being messed up, and some discussion on Reddit also. So I wonder if they fixed the subs?

^Was definitely fixed subs where I watched it because there wasn't any mistakes like that. Was either aniwave or gogoanime.
Browsed through a reddit thread and saw others who also had subs with no problems and were confused about the discussion.
Guess we'll see how things go next week.

Given that a lot of the terribleness comes from punctuation/capitalization/typoes rather than awkward translations, I feel this is less machine translation and moreso just really cheap translation that seriously needs a proofreader.

It would be honestly funny if it's just a rushed cheap human translation, since the anti-human-translator crowd has annoyingly been acting like this anime is their savior. They're a weird group for a variety of reasons, but that's whole other off topic convo lol
