To my knowledge it was Microsoft that fucked up here, though Sony also sucks with other things like various censorship practices and the whole Hell Divers mess

^Hi-Fi Rush was at least successful from what I know, though their other games I think weren't selling the best, even if some of them did have various amounts of cult popularity. Plus regardless Microsoft has been making some bad choices within the gaming sphere for awhile now.

"A while" meaning the last 10+ years, yeah. This stings as well because they might have developed these relationships more in the planned sequel, considering how the first one ended.
