I haven't kept up with Genshin in awhile so maybe this question has been answered, but is there even a "drinking age" in the game's setting? Though it's not like that keeps people from drinking regardless lol

^I wonder the same, given how many people have asked to have a drink with the Traveler

i think it's safe to assume that it depends on the nation? i think inazuma and liyue would have specific drinking age laws, like 18-21 or smth, while monstadt and fontaine would just take drinking age as a suggestion
for the other nations idk

From what I know of drinking ages in modern times, China is 18 and Japan 20. Though I don't know how strict it is, as some cultures are more casual about drinking, and vary with how strongly they enforce drinking laws I think. I don't know about ancient times, which I figure Genshin would probably lean more into, when there might have been less or at least more relaxed laws about drinking, depending on the country of course.

When in doubt, just remember:
"Teyvat has its own 'laws'"
