^ agree, that seems unnecessarily rude. Two pronged forks aren't that rare or hard to find.

^ also a fork in the road is a term meaning a split path. Like the tongue. a fork just means a split. it just so happens its also the name of a utensil(which also include those forks for lobsters, which are 2 pronged.)
