I don't get Frieren x Himmel. Not even because I prefer another ship. I just don't get it. I read the manga a few months ago and I never saw anything. I was so confused when I saw people shipping them.

nah even if i like Fern x Frieren more i can totally see why people love Frieren x Himmel. it definitely feels like Frieren had something going on with him and just didn't do anything about it until it was too late.
with that said, nothin beats a good second love helping ya grieve, age gap be damned

From what I've heard, the story seems to be pushing a het ship or two. And if not the story, most fans (especially the people I'm following) are on board with said ships.
I was already uninterested based on the episode I watched but finding out about that really didn't help.

If you don't like the show, that's fine; but don't talk like the show has done something wrong by having het relationships.

I simply said that it pushing a het pairing or any form of romance at all made me less interested in continuing it. Actually, it would've been way a lot better if it sticks with Frieren being ace/aro (which I am one, by the way).

^ characters having chemistry and forming relationships aren't pushing anything. Your way of wording sounds a lot like the homophobic people I've known calling shows that have non-het relationships as "pushing LGBTQ+".
I don't care what your preference are, just don't use the word "push" as it implies that the relationship is forced/wrong/unnatural.
Edit: for the record, I headcannon Frieren as ace/aro too since that seems to fit her the most.

Do know that all I know at the moment is from my encounter with annoying Frieren x Himmel shippers and them spoiling me certain manga panels. That did confirm to me that the story seems to be going in that direction so I noped out.
Regardless, what's wrong with a queer person getting tired of media shoving heterosexuality down our throats anyways? The difference here is that heterosexuality is accepted as normal and that it should be expected in every single media you see and preferring otherwise (anything queer) is deemed abnormal.
