@FluffyCow The anime (S1) left off with them being rival actresses at a theatrical play (and also kinda for the MC's affections but we don't talk about that) so it makes sense for them to be confused :))

^Thanks for explaining, if you remove the MC part and just have them be theater rivals, I can see that being a potentially fun ship dynamic

Akane actually looks up to Kana, in the manga. It's really cute actually. Looking up to your rival and kinda giving off tsundere feels. ❤
