Rather than just that, the best thing about Kokoa and Hayate is that they also act like a real couple in the story, which is sometimes almost laughably rare in lot of yuri stuff.
They flirt and are physically affectionate, even if Kokoa is sometimes looking over her shoulder.

^I don't know if I'd say it's too rare in my personal experience at least, plus various couples will act differently, but that aside I can definitely agree that these two are great together! I absolutely love them and their chemistry.

Natural physical affection in public spaces is kind of rare in yuri, if you compare it to how real world lovers act. Even accounting for cultural differences that put some limits to it in places like Japan.
For example, watch Kanamemo sometimes. There's an adult couple, both women. They do affectionate gestures to each other in public (like touching each other's shoulders in support, etc), and it feels so different and natural than what you normally see. Not just some blushy cheeks and maybe bit of handholding or random hug, if girls feel daring.

^It's fine that we don't fully agree, I feel like I see a reasonable amount of outward physical affection in Yuri content myself. Also how I interact physically sounds like it's very different than what you expect and find realistic about relationships. Regardless I rather not argue, I'm just here to enjoy this couple I love, so I wish you the best and have a nice day.
