A whole family... Cute! (●♡∀♡)
Though, who - exactly - is their child? Kobo, if I remember correctly? Σ( ̄□ ̄;)

Yeah, according to the current lore, Kobo is the adopted daughter of Calli and Kiara, who may or may not be together right now depending on how comfortable they are opening that whole can of worms again xD

They seem to be together going by their recent off-collab.

^To my knowledge it'd be shipping their Vtuber characters / stream personas. Some people can't separate fiction from reality and that's their problem.

^ It's dangerous regardless, because these people do in fact exist, and it actively hampers their careers. Crossick (Kana and Tomoe) stopped interacting altogether because chat would constantly and consistently derail things. It's even worse among primarily English speaking content creators, have you seen how unhinged the Connormouse shippers are?

Worst part about IRL shippers is they either think they're being funny and aren't doing anything wrong and think they person telling them to stop are playing around with them or they genuinely think hounding the people they're shipping will get them together and they will be thanked for pushing them to try dating.

I think it's about the content creators and so fourth setting boundaries, being firm. Some people will ignore them, especially as people can be pushy. That's what banning and blocking people is for as well. Regardless of shipping there will always and unfortunately be fans that are a problem, and even dangerous fans. Kiara distanced her self from the Takamori ship awhile back, but she did also tell artists that it's okay to keep drawing the ship art. So I think there's layers and nuance to it, and it's not a black and white case of shipping specifically Vtubers is only bad and dangerous. I also don't think this artist is in the wrong for drawing this art personally.

Kiara distanced herself mainly because the Takamori ship was consuming her brand identity and thought she should take time to establish her character individually a bit more IIRC. It wasn't the massive deal people made of it, though some did take it a little far

@Yasako
Claiming Crossick's real life break up happened because of fans is really disingenious. They were a real couple and they had a real break up. These happen sometimes and the volatile minefield of having a public relationship most likely did not help, but this is really not the same situation as some business/entertainment ships stopping. We will most likely never know their true reason for breaking up and it should not concern us.

Crossick's decline started with Tomoe's expressing the same concerns as Kiara about being overwhelmed by the ship though.

^^DID they actually break up? If so, that's unfortunate. I thought they just were not publicly together anymore and wanted to keep their relationship strictly private. They seemed like they were quite serious with each other, but a break-up can happen for any reason, even if you're serious. That's how life is sometimes, I suppose.
