I'm also looking forward to Volume 8.
Out of curiosity, how many more will there be? The Amazon.com summary of Volume 8 states that "Sorawo and Toriko's bizarre tale of exploration and survival is coming to a climax!" but I didn't see anything like "Final Volume" in the summary.

^ I don't know. Based on the last chapter's title, "Accomplish No More" i guess this will finalize their relationship, either dating or goes separate ways.
The series do feel like it's wrapping up. but, i don't think it will end soon. New character is introduced this volume. A witch that manages UBL artifacts and Benimori. also, that witch opens up another possibility that UBL artifact can be made. based on that, I think it will not end anytime soon, there's a lot of unresolved plot.

I hated the anime so much god why didn't they continue it why did it end with that cliffhanger who tf was that lady
