This image made me now want a quest with a named Ring Dancer. We already have one with a Clearwater (Jeht) and a Scorching Loremaster (Babel), so why not the others? (I’ve not made it far into Sumeru, so if I’m missing a quest that does involve one, I didn’t know.)

@Givemeanaccount There was also a quest with a galehunter, to find their hunting partner too. It wa snear the Tanit camp

I had stopped playing the game because it was too hard getting exp books, so I was effectively stuck. Did they ever fix that?

What do You mean "hard"? You can farm them. You could since Day 1.
Farming them is not very effective on low World Levels, but is still doable

^yes the the blue clouds that are on the map are all place that you can fight the enemies inside it and get books from them
