^ I think that Faystay is not aware that Honoka (present right there) is not the love interest, they just mentioned Kotori in the conversation and Umi gets all flustered (Honoka says she is talking about sweets (and not Kotori(?)), duno how the confusion happened there in japanese).
Kotori x Umi tags are correct.

I always like this author and these little Kotori/Umi are great ^^
And I don´t think they are missunderstanding Kotori with sweets. Knowing Honoka, she is just thinking "smell like sweets = food stuff" xD, Umi, on the other hand... well, that "get your mind out of the gutter" it is pretty clear xD

flips i just wanted you to be happy and i thought this has a fluffy enough end for you :( But if you happen to be confused, Honkers is saying Kotori smells like sweets while Umi's mind went straight to the gutter. haha

^ Well, I am lol.
Was just wondering about the dialogue, thought it was one of those confusions caused by similar sounding words. I duno the characters, never seen the show, till I read Nura's comment above.

I think Honoka means that Kotori smells like sweets because she's thinking about food while Umi is thinking about how Kotori smells good in a more sensual way.
Or, alternatively, it's a lost in translation joke where maybe "sweets" sound similar or sounds like another word for something more explicit.
