Nozomi x Maki would actually make more sense than Nico x Maki. Nozomi already found interest in Maki because she was so similar to Eli.

^ Pretty much the same thought as me. I've been in NozoMaki side ever since Nozomi talked to Maki when they go to supermarket together and I just love it how Nozomi was so care toward Maki. Honestly, the 2nd season is just ruined everything. Damn.
