I've read a one shot with a kinda similar premise, though it was more on the depressing side than cute. It's been so long I'd be surprised if I could find it again.

Kind of a sad reason if that’s the only reason why she decided to break up was transitioning though. Then again, I guess maybe I could see it being more of a “I feel uncomfortable with how I’m currently perceived by people, who am I really, I’m not in a state where I can focus on a relationship right now” sorta thing.

From what I've understood from things I've seen somewhere else (forgot if it was reddit or discord) the "to be continued?!" bit is supposed to be a show of how the author is interested in expanding on the premise of this one once the 100 days of yuri thing on twitter has passed.
