I’ve never liked pringles so I might be missing something, but can’t you just turn the can upside down to get the bottom chips out? I don’t understand why you’d need to learn a special finger technique for this.

^Speaking from my own experience at least, humans are stubborn and often do things the hard way, and for many fighting the Pringles can is simply part of the experience of eating the chips.
Also cats, there are videos where a cat will walk around their toy and go behind a door, just to stick their arm under the door to try grabbing the toy. It's I think a bit similar haha
