Given the scene with the rubberband at the end of ep2 and their differing policies on killing, I suspect there will come a day when Takina would find the need to turn her gun on Chisato.

Thought the same and I think one of them is going to get killed in the end (by who I don't know).

Rewatching just the trailer I have a nagging feeling something is gonna happen to Chisato

^ The thing that worries me is that in one of the official promotional materials, Chisato is offering Takina a red spider lily. Those normally mean "final parting" and are associated with death

Personally I'd expect a death fakeout or a crippling instead of an actual death. The series feels to upbeat to actual kill one of the main characters

Yes, but I'd expect to see Lycoris radiata around when it's the show's central motif

^Be it getting crippled, a fake out, or differing ideologies, I just really hope they survive to see each other once more, be it soon or the far future.
I also really hope Chisato doesn't die, she's just really the light that warms everyone's heart in this show.. Though seeing in the latest episode, her John Wick dodging doesn't seem to be the ultimate plot armor magic.. God I hope this duo sticks and survives together..
