Is Mumei supposed to be a female version of Horus or something here? Both Mumei and Horus are associated with the sun and Horus can take the form of a bird.

Well, no, that wouldn't work. Horus primarily takes the form of a hawk, and now that I think of it, I can't recall there even being an Egyptian owl deity.

I thought Mumei was more associated with civilization, which would make Athena a closer analog.
