I always got a feeling Sena had a bit of a thing for Yozora :) And Sena for sure was into girls too. Shame Yozora was too much of an ass most of the time to let her get close.
I wish they had got shipped more- a couple of small half decent fan fics was all I remember seeing.

^I agree, tho I liked the main dude ok- he wasnt an ass and he wasnt even trying to persue these 2- they were fighting over him for some mysterious harem romcom non reason. Whereas these 2 had sparks fly always - it was clear Sena wanted to be friends/closer with Yozora - but the writers wouldnt allow it to go that way.

^ That doesnt mean they cant make changes and do or not do stuff that might be in the LN or not. Same goes for the writer in the LN tbh- they will have an editor or whatever who gives them direction- and will tell them NOT to do certain things (like with oreimo) or at least suggest what they think will be popular- which is why they run character polls etc.
But still you may well be right it might just be the writer who had no interest in doing that and only cared for his harem.

If my memory serves me correct, wasn’t Sena kinda into Yozora? I remembered she has so many wallpapers of Yozora in her bedroom, even one on the roof. I forgot the reason though.
How did the novels end anyway? Did anyone ever get together with him?

^^^Yep, Im pretty sure Sena was really down bad for Yozora. Her whole room was covered in Yozora's photos and she liked to smell Yozora's wig while looking at them.

Mind you I havent read all of them, but by the time I stopped reading Sena and MC started dating (which was quite subversive at the time, because the entire plot had driven him towards Yozora). Yozora became a total self-destructive trainwreck before that, admitting that a lot of what she had been doing was due to her issues and from what I remember Sena and MC were trying to help her recover.
I don't care much for het romance and I definitely saw Sena as fiercely bisexual, but from what I remember it all made sense in its own way. I do wonder how it actually ended.

@Licentious Lantern was this before or after Rika called him out for his being dense bullshit? I recall reading a summary a long time ago and that's the one detail that stuck out to me. Also, I vaguely remember Yozora leaving and then coming back or something like that.

Take this with a grain of salt because I grabbed it from TVTropes, but apparently the light novels end with Kodaka rejecting everyone, dating Yukimura, and then dumping her when he decides to hang out with the club one last time on Christmas Eve

@elevown it's not like I'm defending him. I lost interest on harems ages ago because the authors never commit to anything (I guess they were inspired by Love Hina but only watched the anime)

iirc the light novel ending was left open ended only saying that Sena and Kodaka will go to the same college
Sena's bisexuality is heavily implied throughout the series with her obsession with Yozora and the time she tried to kiss her
Yozora became Sena's "maid" at the end of the novels
This leads me to conclude that Yozora and Sena ended up together
