Hard to say. Pre-timeskip the age difference is 22/23 to 17/18 but the major issue is that Byleth is Edelgard's teacher more than the age gap itself.
Post-Timeskip, Byleth didn't really age (and not in a "I'm an immortal dragon so I still look young" way but in a "I blinked and woke up 5 years later" way) so they would both be around 23 years old. In game you can only form romantic relationships with the characters once they're years past being your students but this is fanart hence why I don't know xD

Byleth is 20 pre-timeskip and 20 post-timeskip, and therefore is eight years younger than mercedes when they get married if you do that
