Well enemies to lovers is a popular trope so that's probably one reason people like Himiko as well as TogaRaka.

^^ well I find toga interesting because compared to villains who had a corruption arc or sad backstories, she's just born like that and doesn't hate herself for it. she just does what she wants and likes what she likes.

^I'm not saying they need to be redeemable, but usually I find villains who are evil "just because" to be rather boring.
But then again I hate most villains and even some heroes in MHA. Himiko is just one of the worse offenders.
