I missed this ship(s). Poor Sami just doesn't get enough love even as one of the OG starters.

^Yeah - Murakami Murakumo and Fubuki get both Kai Ni and seasonal art, Inazuma and Sazanami get only seasonal art, but Samidare gets neither. And it's not like Samidare's original artist is inactive or anything - they're still regularly drawing and posting art.

^Yeah. I was also thinking that in comparison to Yura x Yuubari, wherein Yura does get seasonal cg and a remodel. Yura wasn't exactly popular back in the day either but she did get a boost which meant there was lot more Yura x Yuubari. Meanwhile poor Sami not getting any means her ship with Yuubari is also not as popular. Then there was that moment in the BD release of the anime that removed her from the background. Poor Sami.

Oh, haven't seeen Samidare in a while. I also didn't know she was in the game from the start.
Shimakaze didn't get much love from the anime producers either, she wasn't even in the movie.
