if anyone is interested in the series, it’s the prequel to Kakegurui with Mary as the mc. She’s the underdog who becomes famous around the school (before yumeko steals the attention). Practically everyone who interacts with Mary is attracted to her (mostly girls, one guy). It’s pretty explicit that Tsuzura is in love with Mary and their interactions are adorable

^ I'm wondering the same. Specially because Mary seems less bitchy in the prequel, has friends whom she trusts a lot and even though she wants to raise to the top of the school, she doesn't treat people instantly like shit or potential pets like in the main Kakegurui manga.
