I like Nadeshiko and Rin as a pairing, but I do have to admit there's something intriguing about Rin and the sister! Their moments together have always been really good.

I don't ship it, but I like it how both, the anime and manga, leave hits of Rin having a crush on Sakura.
At the very least, she likes the blood-line.

The two pairings are kind of working different angles. The excitable, outgoing human-puppydog Nadeshiko is kind of the yin to Rin's yang, whereas Sakura is more like Rin's evolved form- still aloof, but with added beauty and maturity (as well as height.) I can see Rin falling for either one, just for different reasons.

This ship never do to me because how of little they interact with each other. The only thing you have for it is Rin who said one time that Sakura look nice.

They talk and interact at several different points and 1 on 1, along with getting dinner together at least once. There's more ship fuel for them than like half or more of characters people ship haha

We really didn't read the same manga, the only time they interact 1on 1 was on Nadeshiko solo camp and then again it was awkward and they don't talk that much.to each other. Really, they don't have that much interactions.

^They're both just shy people, yes that was the main time they talked but I remember at least one other time or two they interacted, it's not a ton but it was more than enough to get a ton of great ship art. Plus again they went and got dinner together after checking in on Nadeshiko. Fine if you don't like the ship, but I'm here because I personally enjoy it, and it's again more ship fuel than many ships I've seen.

No but that still something that is a bad point to me for any ship. If teh interactions are low between the pairing, i'm less likely to appreciate the ship.

This is moving the goalposts, tho. You can certainly ship Rin with Nadeshiko for a variety of reasons.
But there are clear interactions between Rin and Sakura that quite easily lend themselves to shipping if that's how you wanna roll. It's not some huge mystery.
