This is a true story: I was very intently listening to Keke in this show, waiting and waiting to see if she had a Chinese accent in her Japanese. I don't think she does, BUT I suddenly realised I had a few Chinese friends in Japan, and my Japanese was never so precise that I could detect a Chinese accent in them, people I spoke with often! It'd be interesting to find out if they did give her one. I guess I should look for a lot of --aru and "Ai-ya!"
