I think it's more due to Suisei and Toko being from rival companies than them being lesbians, à la Romeo and Juliet (but hopefully with less dying)

^^Hololive and Nijisansi seem pretty friendly on a whole. I can't speak for corporate stuff behind the scenes, but they regularly let their talents collab with each other and such.

^^^Hololive and Nijisanji aren't even that much of rivals. They have inter-cooperation collabs pretty often, especially in big events. For example, Matsuri just got 1st place a month ago in Niji Apex Tournament, Towa was also a participant. If anything, they're more like business partners in the same field.
