Also,since she is a frog,her saliva is super sticky,her tongue is super soft,and it can be shot out before being retracted at high speeds.
This means Glaucus just had the greatest make out session one could ever hope for.
Albeit,to get anything off the tongue,frogs retract their eyes into their head,the resulting pressure slides the yummy stuff right off.

I knew about the tongue shooting out part,but I was mistaking it for the suction cup part of a chameleon tongue so I went to double check.
And all that goodness simply requires one large group of people to pay a willing artist.
Also,on the topic of chameleons,for anyone who wants,there is fanart of Ethan and Blue Poison getting literally tongue tied over a fly.

^this is what happens when you don't have proper jaws and evolution gets creative with alternative solutions...
TBF it's not like feline tongues are much better. Those can break human skin with repeat application and IIRC some of the big cats use theirs to strip fur off prey before eating (less hairballs to spit out later that way). And some birds have what amounts to freaking harpoons in their mouths...
