It's a shame they didnt have a dating sim aspect to Genshin, woulda made it a lot better, and they woulda sold a lot more cute outfits for peoples wifu's if they had.

^ well a lot of the characters are still young and underaged, so it’d be weird for them to be dating the MC, Lumine or Aether, who’s over hundreds or probably tens of thousands of years old with what fans are speculating their origin to be. The characters are already over-sexualized by the community as it is, it’d probably get even worse.

^^^^ I mean that basically what the hang out events are, at least some of them. Noelle's is pretty overtly romantic, and some of her lines about attracting people change depending on if you play as Lumine or Aether.

@Hexadermia - I've only finished Noelle's first hangout event, but IIRC the only line that changes is one of Noelle's study notes in the "A Conundrum Called Love" ending. If you're playing as Lumine it's "Give her a cake you made yourself", whereas if you're playing as Aether it's him.
