^^Mihoyo won't even use Lumine on ANY of their promo materials for fear of weeb rage. I doubt they'd have the balls to hint on lesbian relationships

^^^^ Its not actually about weeb rage... its probably because china is strict at censoring, especially now where they've gotten stricter.. they've pulled off honkai back at the day because china wasn't that strict.

I don’t think they have to worry about weeb rage tho, most players in China and Japan, aka the atms, seem to really like Lumine, most of the ones that get mad with preaching Aether as the canon Mc are easy enough for Mihoyo to ignore.
Plus Honkai is getting gayer again with the recent chapter featuring Seele and of course Bronya. Just look up the animation shorts they with dark Seele and Bronya as example.

@kirakazumi Actually there's been a few web events that using Lumine instead of Aether. A trailer for the Liyue region also used Lumine in it.
