Just read the manga and the novels. They're better than anything the anime did with this series.

2nd season is highly unlikely imo. Still the best series I've come across this year. Introduced me to reading light novels.

Given how the anime was often confusing and messy, plus the low production, I think a season 2 is very unlikely. It was fun, but the anime definitely had a lot of problems. At the very least it made me want to pick the manga back up from where I previously took a break, and read the LN as well.
