I think there's an IRL story on Facebook I saw: There's a guy who bought 2 dakimakuras and he put those 2 dakimakura on his bed so they can be a couple and the guy sleep on the floor.

@juanelric: There are these plastic pins, which look rather like the one here, that are in two pieces: you put one piece on one side of a piece of thin fabric and the other piece on the other side. When you push them together they catch the fabric between them and are held up that way.
