^They're the central focus of the first summer event's story. Schwarz was an assassin who retired from that work to become Ceylon's bodyguard, and they have a cute + dedicated relationship to each other. It's why Schwarz has a specific speed up for Ceylon's base morale recovery. It's also why the blue bird in Schwarz's new skin art is a nod to Ceylon, and their connection.
