Something about this ship feels oddly healing... I feel like Raikou's hatred of oni stems from her own self-hatred for Ushi Gozen. And the idea of her becoming chill with it makes me oddly happy. It's like exorcising internalized prejudice. Especially with the attitude Shuten takes toward her, and how tender this image is. IDK.
