Had to look up the meaning of this. Turns out there is a lore that's developing around Vtubers... Who would have thought ? Anyway, here's a quote from a random redditor summing up the "bottom left" story :
"In one of their collabs the EN girls put themselves on a graph of purity (top pure, bottom lewd) and intelligence (smart right, dumb left). When it was Kiara's turn her papa Huke (the designer of her character) insisted she is "bottom left" (dumb and lewd) so now this phrase is used whenever the girls, especially Kiara, do something silly and/or lewd."

So, I was assuming prior to reading comments, bottom left was refering to where a streamers character overlay was on screen- and maybe bottom left has come to mean sub - and thus as 2 subs they cant proceed.
I take @Minran at their word, but Im not really sure why this image outcome then if it means 'lewd and dumb'?
Wouldnt they just be having sex without issue? Why are they covering their faces in embaressement if they are both lewd?
Is the story here it's meant to be their first time and though they wanna do it they are both too 'dumb' to figure out what to do? Is this some reference or meme I dont know?

Yeah, there's no deeper meaning beyond the combination of the two memes.
"Bottom left" is a running gag in Hololive EN for the reason Minran mentioned (all of chat was saying bottom left, Huke's comment just sealed the deal).
"And so... They were both bottoms" is a frequently parodied meme in yuri.
Combine them and you get this.

Kiara did admit on stream that she wouldn't know what to do if she and Calli would go on a real date and she would need Calli to take the initiative.
For added context, during the first Hololive EN colalb with all five girls, they pulled up a diagram and tried to place each person on that diagram. Top was pure. Bottom was lewd. Right was smart. and Left was dumb. Kiara got immediately put into bottom left since she was already hitting on Callie. Her character designer, Huke (who also did character designs for Black Rock Shooter and Steins;Gate) latched onto it as well. In the coming months, Kiara has just continued to make lewd comments or do dumb stuff, like talking about her thigh fetish, pronouncing thighs as "ties", take screenshots of cute girls in swimsuits in video games, find diamonds in minecraft and immediately fall into lava and die, turn into a frog, and get banned from youtube briefly so she had to redebut and acted like she lost her memory.
Callie isn't actually that bottom left, but often unintentionally says stuff that are really easily taken out of context. She also did a "date" stream with the chat where she got attacked by a bird, hit on by ghost rider, and then did a pocky challenge but it was actually a stick with mud on it.
