Honestly, this two had a surpricing among of chemestry despite the shortness of the event.
I am surpriced it was her ship with Skadi the one more popular (specially when you concider Skadi is more interested [platonicaly or not] in Specter) when Granni litteraly said she would look the time to visit Carol at the end of the event.

Skadi and Grani appear together in the event's promotional materials. Also Skadi being more popular than Carol along with other factors like being playable and being a 6 star. Most people probably skipped the event story too so they never found out about Carol. If there could be a follow up event in the future where Carol becomes playable and has more interactions with Grani, then perhaps their ship will get more on board.

The Skadi and Grani ones are mostly because ones' a tall airhead and the other is a short tactical thinker,who are comrades in the same company,and possibly will now work together more,not to mention their matching hair colour or their involvement in the treasure hunt.
There are also some who say that Big Bob and Grani have the best chemistry interaction wise,all things considered.
And,so long as you're not part of the heretics who skip storyline,you too would also note that Carol is normal in all respects,so it's very very very unlikely she'll become a playable character,unless they decide a new system that involves non-combat Operators.
In which case,she still has her duties at home to think up as well.
Regardless of that,we need more Grani,lots more Grani.

Well, I don't think people expected Jaye aka just your average fishball finball vendor to become playable. I think Carol becoming playable can be done. We do have Sora who doesn't even attack. Just up to Hyperglyph if they still remember her.
In which case,she still has her duties at home to think up as well.
Maybe they can come up with a story justification. Again, up to Hyperglyph if they still remember her and if they ever make a sequel event to Grani's.
