I don't need citation to tell you that hololive aren't recruiting only lesbians for their company. Be practical, act gay/gay is a phrase is just popular among Japanese group idols culture and those that may be actually gay are likely the one you least expected because they don't want out and shame their parents.
I'll retract my statement from "all" but vast majority of them. There is far too much services and playacting between members of different vtuber brands to be realistic

2)Vtubers seem to have a lot more control over their persona than idols do
3)With the big agencies recruiting from their fans, you'd actually expect a disproportionate amount of queer girls
4)It's usually pretty obvious when they're play-acting romance versus when they're not
5)There's no need to be a dick about this
