Isn't the 3rd eye an external "organ". I would think it would cause major damage if it's disconnected.

It's some sort of a weird heart attached to her head. What's dangerous here is removing her ZUN-imbued head ornament. 2hus die when that happens. Luckily she still has a hair band. Very close call

@SilkenEmperor I always assumed the hair clip isnt where it attaches to her properly.
I've also seen some dojins where it can be entirly removed and set aside if she wants- no idea how its considered in canon.
