They have just swapped clothes? And even hair styles?
I love the image style, tho I dont really think Reimu looks like her, facially. And she has black hair not brown right? I'm guessing that is for the sake of this image, so it stands out from the hat and dress.
Or maybe its just swapped hair? and are not wearing each others clothes? I can't tell because the faces are not really close enough to either characters to tell them appart if you swap their hair colours.

I don't really understand "they don't look like her facially" when her canonical look is this.
Zun characters don't have canonical faces lol.

@drpepperfan I didnt say it didnt look like her canonically- just it doesn't look like her- to me. How I am used to seeing her drawn most of the time.
They may vary but I still think most of the time in the zun works and other doujins you can recognise them by their face, and hairstyle, even if the art style changes- but in this picture, because they have swapped clothes or hair, and the faces are not how I mostly see them drawn, I can no longer say for sure which is which character.
Is that a blonde Reimu or Marisa dressed as her? If it IS blonde Reimu, then that makes more sense- the blonde looks more like her now I look again, but then i'd say Marisa doesn't look like herself much.
Even if the characters are drawn with differences in different works and pictures, we all still build our own internal model of them and what we imagine them to look like, that I guess is some kinda amalgam of the various styles we have seen, and it will vary from person to person depending which artists they've read most and/or most recently.

Lin seems to go with a slightly older look on her Touhou characters than a lot of other artists and she often draws Reimu with darker skin, so they're definitely unusual, but I think they're still recognizable and I really like the artstyle.
